OUR IMPACT

Delivering Scalable Carbon Removal, Industrial Decarbonization & Ecosystem Regeneration

Financing Verified Environmental Outcomes at Scale

We back infrastructures that turn biomass, plastics, and residues into high-value products with measurable attributes, carbon removal, plastic circularity, water quality, soil health, and clean energy – tracked and verified across each project.

We design for stacked impact, not single metrics. Carbon is one outcome among many; our projects also deliver plastic recovery, water benefits, soil gains, and renewable energy – quantified, verified, and reported to investors.

Impact Thesis

We invest in thermochemical platforms that convert liabilities into assets: biochar, engineered biocarbons, bio-oils, syngas, and recycled carbon materials. Impact is embedded in operations: every ton produced and every offtake signed carries auditable environmental attributes and real-economy use.

Pillars of Impact

  1. Carbon & Climate
 – Durable carbon storage (biochar in soils and materials) and avoided emissions from fossil substitution in rubber, plastics, construction materials, and heat/power.
  2. Circularity & Waste
 – Diversion of biomass residues, end-of-life tires, and hard-to-recycle plastics from landfill/open burning into valuable materials and energy.
  3. Water & Soil – Health
Improved soil function and yields via biochar; water purification and pollutant adsorption via activated bio-carbon and related processes.
  4. Energy & Resilience
 – On-site process heat and combined heat & power (CHP) from syngas, improving energy security and economics for host facilities.

Environmental Attribute Certificates (EACs)

EACs allow the monetization of verified outcomes and reinforcement of transparency alongside core revenues from materials and energy.

Examples:

  • Carbon Removal Credits (Biochar): Quantified, verified removals from durable carbon storage.
  • Plastic Credits: Waste collection and recycling credits for plastics diverted from the environment into circular value chains.
  • Water Benefits / Water Quality Credits: Certificates tied to water purification, conservation, or watershed outcomes where applicable.
  • Integrity guardrails: conservative baselines, additionality, permanence accounting, leakage and double-counting controls, third-party verification, public registries, and clear retirement practices.

Measurement, Reporting & Verification (MRV)

All projects, their outputs, environmental outcomes, and impact are digitized end-to-end in Habitat — the Impact Operating System developed by AxessImpact. Activities, evidence, roles, and metrics flow into shared dashboards for investors, developers, and offtakers, enabling live traceability and exportable audit trails.

Standards & Alignment

We align impact claims to recognized standards and registries (for carbon, plastic, and water where applicable), report against the UN SDGs, and maintain investor-grade disclosures consistent with our sustainability objectives.

Our impact strategy is aligned with the United Nations SDGs and SFDR Article 9, integrating measurable outcomes through our digital platform for full traceability and reporting.
